Business-to-Business and Professional Sales represents one of the largest employment gaps in the state of New Jersey. This vital business function is key to an organization’s success in the market. Individuals who are proficient in the critical skills of prospecting, lead development, and driving leads to an identifiable action are in high demand by employers. In this certificate, participants will learn the theory behind professional sales, apply theory by engaging in prospecting, practicing different closing techniques, and learning how to operate widely used Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools such as SalesForce, Hoovers, and Outreach.io. This five-week certificate will be conducted in a hybrid manner, with four online meetings (which will be recorded) and two face-to-face meetings. The first face-to-face meeting will provide a personalized, hands-on experience with Sales Force Automation tools, while the second meeting will be a presentation of sales proposals that will be both instructor and peer-reviewed.
